ChickHoovenSwine BBQ food truck is led by owner Eric Westervelt, whose passion for smoking meats began long before the food truck ever hit the road. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a full-time pursuit as Eric mastered the craft of low-and-slow cooking and began sharing his barbecue with the community. He’s hands-on with every part of the operation—from tending the pits to perfecting rubs, sauces, and new menu items. His dedication to authenticity, quality ingredients, and honest, flavorful barbecue has helped ChickHoovenSwine grow into a trusted and well-loved name throughout the Kansas City area.
