MEET ftakc

The top street food vendors in Missouri are gathered together by the Kansas City Food Truck Association, or FTAKC. They are a varied, carefully selected group of culinary experts that work throughout the greater Missouri region.

We are dedicated to bringing Kansas Cittyan to our members for distinctive food truck catering experiences because we think that food unites people. At the same time, we are working hard to preserve Charlotte's iconic street food culture through our advocacy work.

Above all, we are community-driven; we constantly strive to maintain excellent food, uphold street safety, and improve the whole food truck experience.

Food Truck Catering

Full-service mobile catering is the main focus of FTAKC. By putting customers in touch with a variety of nearby food truck vendors, we create distinctive, unforgettable experiences. With more than 100 members, we offer a wide variety of food trucks and cuisines that will fulfill any craving and enhance any occasion.

Festivals, happy hours, corporate and employee appreciation events, weddings, birthday parties, and bar mitzvahs are just a few of the events we cater. For every event, we have the solution.

Advocacy and Empowerment

The Charlotte Food Truck Association empowers local food truck businesses in two unique and important ways.

FTAKC was founded by Ben Goldberg, a former food truck owner who saw firsthand how difficult it can be to rely solely on erratic street sales. Our association is designed to ensure that our vendors stay relevant and busy year-round through these catering opportunities, which in turn empower our members to grow their businesses. First, FTAKC makes sure that our vendors are opened to a world of new business opportunities through event catering.

FTAKC dedicates significant time and resources to advocating for its members and the food truck industry at both the local and state levels. The association stays up to date on potential changes to policies, rules, and regulations that could directly affect its members. By closely monitoring industry developments and using its knowledge and experience, FTAKC helps give local mobile food businesses a stronger voice and advocates for their interests.
